12/13/2015 0 Comments When I opened the door ..When I opened the door to call my son, my son was like this. He was in his new bed covering his head with a alien hat. It was so cute.. He looked pretty comfortably. The night I wanted to show him how homeless people live outside since he is like a tipicall boy who wants everything he wants for Christmas. I found the homeless family on Facebook that one of mom posted for getting help for the family that has four children under 12 yo plus their mother is pregnant being sick. Through the Facebook page, I learned 250 children are under homeless circumstances in Shoreline unfortunately.. I wanted my son to learn he has given more than enough though this opportunity by meeting them. I can not stop thinking about their children.. I cried a lot when I think if I were them.. So sad.. I purchased a big cup of soup and bread, blanket and some toys that were supposed to be brought to church that works for foster care children. My son was kind of scared to talk to unknown people since he learn he is not supposed to talk to if they don't know well. However, I taught him people are here to help people. That is one reason why we are born. The camp site was offered by one house owner. They put 6 tents in the back yard. They have temporary toilet, BBQ grill, fire pit. The house owner has green house space so that homeless people can live without getting wet. I am so happy to see they were not soaked and wet at all. Building tents in back yard is illegal, so they are going to try to get a permmtion from THe city government. I hope their suggestion will be approved. I don't know why they became homeless... I still sad when I think of them. When I see my son sleep in bed comfortably, I am so thankful to my husband to support his family. Keeping our health is most important things to prevent homeless condition since America's medical treatment cost super expensive. What are you doing for your health?
